Lighthouse Program and V.C.E. Study Halls
There was an excellent turnout at our fortnightly V.C.E. Study Halls. This term we will also be running a lighthouse program. This program is designed to assist all secondary students. It was a solid turnout for the first session. Information for students below.
Introducing: The Lighthouse Program
When? Every Second Tuesday with the V.C.E. Study Halls, from 3.30-4.30pm
Where? In room 5 and around
Why? To help you ‘catch up’ or ‘extend’ your learning
Who? Everyone from 7 to 12 + recommendations from Staff/Parents
Catch up
– Are you a behind in your class work?
– Do you have an area of learning that you would like to improve on?
– Do you feel you would benefit from some one-on-one time with your teacher?
Extension
– Do you finish all of your homework in class?
– Do you sometimes wish you could follow your specific interests?
– Do you want to extend learning?
***If you answered yes to any of these then the Lighthouse Program is for you.
